Walker Radford
Walker graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2024. He joined the Lieberman lab as a Ph.D. student in Fall 2024. He is currently performing drug screens on yeast to explore the pathways involved in myocilin-related glaucoma.

Irina Padilla
Irina graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Biochemistry in 2023. She joined the Lieberman lab as a Ph.D. student in Fall 2024. She is currently evaluating the effects of small molecule binding on Myocilin OLF stability.

Elijah Dunn
Elijah graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Chemistry in 2023. He joined the Lieberman lab as a Ph.D. student in Summer 2023. He is currently working on characterizing the disordered linker of myocilin.

Gwendell Thomas
Gwendell graduated with a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She earned her M.S. in chemistry from Georgia Tech in May 2022. Gwendell is a Ph.D. student in the lab working on characterizing archaeal IAPs.

Chris Whittington
Chris graduated from East Carolina University with a B.S. in Molecular and Cell Biology and Chemistry in 2019 and a M.S. in Chemistry in 2021. He joined the Lieberman lab as a Ph.D. student in Fall 2021. Chris is using yeast to learn more about the genetics of myocilin-related glaucoma.

Hailee Scelsi
Hailee graduated from Georgia Tech in May 2019 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She started her Ph.D. in Fall 2020. She is currently working on characterizing common allele variants of OLF and determining the structure of full length myocilin.

Kamisha Hill
Kamisha graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in Fall 2018 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. She is currently working on cellular characterizing common allele variants of the OLF domain. She joined the Lieberman lab as a Ph.D. student in Spring 2020.
Research Scientist and Post Docs

Rafael Siqueira Chagas
Rafael received his B.S. in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Ouro Preto in 2017, his Masters in Biochemistry from the University of Sao Paulo in 2020, and his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Sao Paulo in 2024. He is working on the implementation of cell free expression for the production of wild type and mutant myocilin olfactomedin domain.

Hannah Youngblood, Ph.D.
Hannah received her B.S. in Biochemistry from Berry College in 2018 and her Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Anatomy from Augusta University/Medical College of Georgia in 2022. She is working on characterizing myocilin from hTM cells and starting a new project on pathogenic variants of LOXL1.

Dustin Huard, Ph.D.
Dustin obtained his B.S. in Chemistry, summa cum laude, from Seattle University. He then obtained his M.S. and Ph.D. at the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry, specializing in bioinorganic, biophysics, and structural biochemistry. His advisor was Akif Tezcan. He joined the Lieberman Lab in Fall 2013.
